Events at SunRaven to Begin the New Year
Greetings,

Now that the holidays are over and we're "breathing" again it is time to take action and move closer to our goals for the year.

Consider joining us for one of our programs....

SunRaven Book Club - January 24th 7PM
Flow Cover

Most of us plan New Year’s resolutions at this time. And for the next book club meeting I am proposing a book that might help us do that.

Typically our resolutions are about changing our behaviors and habits.

This book, however, inspires us to look at our resolutions or way of being with a different mindset.

The book, Flow, describes the nature of resonance and our highest vibratory capacities.

It would suggest then, that achieving unity with the flow state might allow us to do more than we would otherwise be able to realize by objectifying individual goals.

This is the focus of the next book club to begin the New Year. I hope you can join us on Wednesday January 24th at 7PM.

Mindful Gardening Project 2007
happy gardeners

The Mindful Garden Project is a community activity that offers participants the opportunity to work in the beautiful gardens at SunRaven; cultivating organic, sustainable crops and mindful awareness of nature. The project is intended to be a healing activity as well as supplying each participating family with delicious vegetables.

Participants are involved in all aspects of gardening and are required to work at the garden for 2 hours a week (on average). Regular educational and instructional meetings will take place as well as group meetings to celebrate seasonal cycles such as the equinox and solstice.
Families are welcome!

2006 was the first year of the Mindful Gardening Project! It was an incredible experience for all of us.

And now we are planning ahead for the 2007 season and would like to invite all those who are interested to one of two introductory discussions.

Please mark your calendars and join us on either Friday January 19th at 6PM or Saturday January 20th at 11AM.

If you cannot attend but are seriously interested, please contact us by email or phone.
